I thought it'd be cool if we could maybe RP Basil learning to cast a Patronus charm? I imagine it'd be a bit of a challenge, and I'd love to see how Lucas tries to prompt him to summon one properly without the boggart that Lupin was able to use or... an actual dementor.

Also Basil scaring the shit out of himself when he learns he's got a dog Patronus is going to be great, at least in my head.

Hey! I would love to do a log with you and that sounds super cute! Successful patronus casting is something that gets rolled by the mods, so you'll probably want to hit their dropbox and ask for Patronus permission or a patronus roll, and mention that he practiced with Lucas and that'll give you a bonus to the roll (Lucas is Charms TA so anyone who asked him for help got a small bonus to their roll). Once we know how your roll goes we'll know how to handle the log. :]

As for the log itself, I am out of town until Monday, but I can write a starter in a gdoc maybe Sunday evening and mail it to you, if you want? :)
